  • ½ cup light corn syrup

Instructions

  3. Attach a candy thermometer and cook without stirring until it reaches 260°F (127°C).
  4. Pour the hot mixture onto the prepared surface and let it cool for about 10-15 minutes until safe to handle.
  5. With buttered hands, pull and stretch the candy for about 10-15 minutes until it lightens in color and has a satiny finish.
  6. Cut into bite-sized pieces using buttered scissors and let firm at room temperature.
