  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup dark cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for cream cheese layer)
  • 1 large egg (for cream cheese layer)
  • Orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper and lightly spray with non-stick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Mix well. Add eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract; stir until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla extract; blend until smooth. Mix in orange food coloring until desired color is achieved.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over it, followed by remaining brownie batter. Swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Let cool before slicing.
