  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon dairy-free butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease two donut pans.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour blend, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and sea salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, avocado oil, brown sugar, eggs, almond milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed; do not overmix.
  5. Pipe batter into donut pans filling each about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 11-12 minutes or until donuts bounce back when tapped.
  7. Cool on wire racks before icing.
