  • 13.8 oz refrigerated pizza dough
  • 3 black olives (for eyes)
  • Piece of red bell pepper (for tongues)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350° F (175° C).
  2. Prepare snake features by cutting the black olives into small pieces for eyes and slicing the red bell pepper into forked tongues.
  3. Unroll the pizza dough on a clean surface and cut it into 12 equal strips.
  4. Roll each strip into 12-inch ropes, tapering one end for the tail and flattening the other end for the head.
  5. Wrap each rope around a greased wooden chopstick or metal straw and brush with olive oil, sprinkling with poppy and sesame seeds.
  6. Add olive pieces for eyes on each head.
  7. Bake on parchment-lined baking sheets for about 11-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While warm, insert pieces of red pepper into each flat-headed snake to create realistic tongues.
